SCHEME MANAGER
Required for The Anchorage, Christchurch, Dorset - A Sheltered Housing Scheme for retired people.
The Scheme Manager provides support to tenants whilst enabling them to live independently. Experience of working with older people is essential. It will be necessary for the post holder to work under his/her own initiative and have good communication, interpersonal and management skills.
This post is residential and a 2 bedroom flat is provided.
Salary and benefits are reviewed annually.

VOLUNTARY BOARD MEMBERS
The Management Board of THA carries ultimate responsibility for the Association’s affairs and corporately determines the business emphasis of the Association.
We are inviting applications from enthusiastic individuals who have skills in one or more of the following areas: Legal, Housing and Property.
The Board and its Committees meet at least 3 times a year in central London usually during office hours. Although Board Members are unpaid, travelling costs and expenses will be met.
The Association would welcome applications from Black and Minority Ethnic groups and also from the disabled.

REWARDING OPPORTUNITY FOR VOLUNTARY LIAISON OFFICERS
Liaison Officers are a unique feature to Teachers’ Housing Association and are appointed for each of our sheltered housing schemes.
Liaison Officers need to have a general interest in supporting the work of the Association and are appointed by our Management Board. The role is voluntary but expenses are reimbursed.
Liaison Officers act as a link between the Board, tenants and staff. They are expected to live in reasonable travelling distance of their appointed scheme. Liaison Officers may also be asked to undertake Home visits to applicants for housing in our sheltered schemes and will be provided with necessary training for this purpose.
